Turning your product idea into a clean design and usable code on a manageable platform is what we do.
Fruition leverages open source platforms and frameworks that make the development process structured and predictable.
Every new product starts with research. No matter where you are in the process of gathering data on the industry and space your new product will launch in, Fruition will do our due diligence to guide the product in the right direction. This research includes a look into competing companies, competing products, similar products, and the potential for platform growth.
Once we’ve determined where your product will fit within the marketplace and understand how we will position it, we begin the discovery and planning phase. This will generally start with high-level discussions to outline initial ideas around functionality. Next, we’ll begin to wireframe and architect the bones via wireframes and user flows that will begin to shape the functionality and interactivity of the product. Our goal in this phase is to have an Minimally Viable Product (“MVP”) planned for an initial launch, with a backlog of non-essential functionality that we’ll build into future versions.
At this point, we’ll have the blueprints for our new product. Now our team will start applying branding and aesthetic design to the functional designs that have been established. We love the entire process, but this is where you start to see everything come together and is usually our client’s favorite part!
There are a lot of choices that have to be made before we begin developing the product. We’ll start this process by identifying what other tools or software your product needs to interface with. Will you need to connect to an ERP system? Product management? Inventory management? Do we plan on using the web product as a central database for a native app? We’ll also plan for future releases and deployments to multiple environments for staging and testing. We’ll choose the right platform to build your product and will then start coding!
Having a new product is great but getting people to use it is key. Before the development of the initial release is complete and the product is launched, Fruition works with your team to develop a pre-launch and post launch marketing strategy. This can include social, paid, and organic marketing approaches that seed a strong user base. Post-launch marketing initiatives continue the growth of your user base We want your product to be just as successful as you do.
