Christy assumed the role of Executive Director in January 2024 and has served as Fruition’s General Counsel since 2014. Before her tenure at Fruition, she was in private practice for twelve years as Senior Counsel at Bryan Cave LLP, where she was a part of the Litigation and Intellectual Property Client Service Groups. She has experience in trade secrets, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, and software licensing. At Fruition, Christy is responsible for client agreements, employment and contractor agreements, trademark enforcement and licensing, patent submissions, and other HR and legal affairs.

Christy holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics from Elmhurst College, where she was also a volleyball player. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law. Post law school, she clerked for Judge James P. Jones in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Virginia. In her leisure time, Christy enjoys being with her husband and their three daughters.
