Job Description

To produce high quality link acquisition strategies for an assigned portfolio of Fruition client accounts and to procure links in line with these agreed strategies. To ensure that all assigned clients have high quality, diverse and robust link portfolios.
To produce quality comments and engagement regarding links you acquire.

This job description sets out the scope of the role of SEO Outreach Coordinator at Fruition, together with the main duties, responsibilities, and key behaviors. It does not include or define all tasks which the post holder may be expected to carry out. Duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility. The post holder may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by their line manager.

Main responsibilities

  • To develop high quality link strategies for a range of assigned Fruition clients, including through guest blogging and more.
  • To engage in high level link prospecting, identifying sites and other properties and opportunities through which to gain high value links.
  • To use a range of link analysis tools to track, monitor, evaluate and analyze existing client site links and competitor profiles in order to inform, refine and develop link strategies across the assigned portfolio of clients.
  • To attain relevant, high quality links.
  • To oversee the submission and syndication of clients’ sites and content to quality web directories.
  • To provide insightful reports and information as required, with regard to link building strategy and activity.
  • To liaise in a timely and efficient manner with clients and any external agencies who are party to a link building campaign where required.
  • To develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives of each of the clients you build links for.
  • To efficiently manage your workload and accurately record your time using the company timesheet system.
  • To ensure your knowledge of the search engine marketing industry is kept up to date and relevant by networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources.
  • To actively and frequently propose new and improved link acquisition and outreach ideas.
  • To comment, share and link to all of your offsite content that gets posted for our clients

Key skills and experience

  • Experience with ethical and effective link building strategies and techniques in a variety of industry sectors
  • Understanding of SEO as a whole and how Google and other search engines rank websites/pages.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly.
  • Excellent communications skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, especially in writing.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Writing blog comments, social sharing blurbs and email correspondence.
