Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) position is a team contributor role that works in concert with the entire sales team to generate new business opportunities for Fruition. We are looking for a professional who can thrive in a remote environment and grow with our team.

Job Description

General responsibilities of the BDR position will include:

  • Prospect, qualify, and schedule appointments and build sales pipelines for Account Executives by means of proactive outbound prospecting, such as cold calling/emailing, social media outreach and lead activity management
  • Accurately update company CRM tool (Salesforce) with opportunity and lead related information
  • Attend prospect meetings as required
  • Participate in sales meetings, local trade shows, and vendor training in order to maintain up to date knowledge of current technology
  • Collaborate with marketing, partners, and other internal teams to help market digital marketing solutions to prospects
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Fruition and to secure meetings
  • Provide support to the sales team by executing on defined marketing strategies and tactics for the generation of demand and inbound leads
  • Aid in the development of the BDR team roadmap – Daily performance metrics, job description, promotional matrix, BDR playbook and lead sources
  • Create and deliver proposals and move qualified leads through the sales funnel as necessary
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas on a monthly basis

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the BDR will be involved throughout the sales process of identifying targets, contacting prospects and creating opportunities. This role requires working closely with other members of the sales team.

Required Key Skills and Education

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • A hunter – someone who is driven to track down our ideal client and create a strong introduction day in and day out
  • Has an understanding of the B2B sales process along with some Salesforce experience
  • Has previous B2B sales experience and understands how to communicate with C level prospects
  • A thinker – someone who can research, brainstorm and test new methods of outreach to find our ideal client

Bonus Skills:

  • Has an understanding of the digital marketing landscape and website development

Salary Range

  • $50,000 – $75,000 total annual on-target earnings (base salary plus commission),, commensurate with experience, skills, education and/or training. No cap on bonus/commissions.
