Hiring – sVP of Sales and Marketing

Fruition is looking for an experienced sales leader, to lead all company sales and internal marketing functions. We previously interviewed for this position but elected not to make a hire. This is a new role in the company that is currently filled by the president.

Fruition is a 15 year old company that is experience strong organic growth. Your job is focus the energy of the sales team and ensure that the growth accelerates.

The sVP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for all of Fruition’s sales and marketing functions. This includes continuing to develop and drive a world class sales organization, developing and implementing sales strategy, and building a national sales team. Those duties are what you’d expect at a full service digital agency. In addition, Fruition also has a popular SaaS product. The growth of this SaaS tool will fall under your umbrella of responsibilities as well. You will work directly with the c-level on investments to grow Fruition’s services and SaaS revenue.

This is a new position. You will step in with a solid sales team that is eager for your strong leadership.

The sVP will lead and build the sales organization through a combination of management, hiring, training, and coaching. They will establish sales quotas and oversee the successful achievement of quotas through focused and daily management of the sales organization.

The sVP will oversee the development and execution of marketing programs in support of the sales objectives. A focus on non-traditional marketing is critical to this positions success. This includes leveraging Fruition’s SaaS platform to drive sales.

sVP of Sales and Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions
  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
  • Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
  • Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance sales operations
  • Coach, mentor and guide sales team throughout sales process including developing solutions, proposals and going on sales calls

sVP of Sales and Marketing Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in sales and sales management, scope of responsibility
  • Has built and managed a national sales team
  • Understands the agency model.
  • Is technically proficient and development and digital marketing
  • Demonstrated proven success in consultative sales
  • Proven leadership and people development skills
  • Has a knack for growing sales in unique ways such as utilizing growth hackers instead of traditional marketing and advertising spends.
  • Ability to work out of our of our Denver based office in North Cherry Creek
