IT Manager – Hiring Full Time – Advance to VP Level FRUITION is hiring an IT Manager. This position is full time. You are responsible for Fruition’s internal IT and a health care client’s IT. Fruition has one location in Cherry Creek north with ~25 employees and hundreds of remote workers on BYODs. In addition to Fruition, your additional responsibility include managing the IT for a health care company’s IT has 5 locations, 65 PCs, and a few remote workers. Both companies use the same types of systems e.g. Watchguard firewalls, Vmware, Windows Server 2008 R2 for infrastructure, centos, Red Hat Enterprise, and ngix webservers, etc. Typical Day in the IT Manager Position A typical day may include 2 hours of assisting users with troubleshooting email, XenAPP, permissions, etc. 2 hours of higher level projects. 2 hours of proactive work. Then a mix of setting up new PCs, security reporting, adjustments, etc. This position is designed with the anticipation that you can advance to the VP level and manage all of Fruition’s internal and client facing IT services. IT Manager Job Description Your responsibilities include managing, updating, securing, troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and more for the following platforms: Windows 7 machines Macs Chromebooks Watchguard Firewalls VMWare vSphere Netgear and Cisco switches Ubiquity APs Citrix XenAPP Random devices such as TVs, Skype TVs, various tablets, etc Windows Server 2008 R2 Servers for Active Directory Synology NASs with Amazon Glacier offsite backup Leading Fruition’s hosting infrastructure will fall under your domain as well as the typical IT services. We are well staffed with server admins. Fruition utilizes various platforms to meet client needs. These include: Centos Red Hat Enterprise ngix Watchguard and Juniper firewalls. Dedicated servers that are co-lo’d Virtual instances that are co-lo’d on esxi and kvm AWS EC2 and RDS instances. Description of Tasks for this IT Manager Position This IT Manager job in Denver is a mix of project based work and troubleshooting. Project based work includes tasks such as setting up new Active Directories (“AD”), procuring and configuring new PCs, ensuring backups are configured and workable, working on certifications such as ISO27001, opening new locations, migrating data from add-on acquisitions to current systems, developing Fruition’s own and client based IT policies, etc. Troubleshooting tasks include basic but critical jobs such as helping users with PC or mac issues, troubleshooting various PC issues, monitoring firewalls, updating PCs, and continuing to update Fruition’s proactive IT plans. Minimal Travel You’ll spend ~10% of your time at one health care client’s locations for troubleshoot, consulting, proactive maintenance, etc. One location is in Grand Junction and would require maybe 3 trips per year to stay connected with the staff at those locations. One location is in Loveland ~1 hr from Denver, the rest of the locations are in Denver. Consulting Fruition hires A players and expects to rely on their expertise to guide the organization. We expect you to be able to understand the business needs of Fruition and its clients, suggest the proper cause of action, and then implement the plan. Tools utilized by Fruition Fruition utilizes Logmein for user assistance and remote PC access. Barracuda for spam filtering and certain backups. Nagios for server monitoring. IDERA for file and database backups for web servers. Additional tasks include: Securing POS devices Setting up Splunk or other log monitoring Extensive understanding of malware and how it impacts Windows machines, an understanding of malware ingress and egress, and a keen eye for keeping users and data secure About Fruition Fruition is a 11 year-old growing digital agency with clients nationally and in several foreign markets.
