Social Media Manager

Fruition is looking for an experienced social media storyteller and online relationship builder to join our team in Denver. This position will work alongside our digital marketing team and will be responsible for coordinating social marketing campaigns and online relationship building efforts for our diverse client portfolio. This position will give you the opportunity to build our social marketing strategies and actively contribute to our growing agency. We’re looking for someone to jump in, take initiative and bring new ideas to the table!

This position requires the ability to adapt quickly, think creatively and represent clients accurately in the social sphere. An understanding of how social media engagement and outreach can drive traffic, sales and conversions is essential. You must have a natural ability to quickly start conversations with industry influencers and foster beneficial online marketing relationships for clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, post and manage content on all major networks for 10 or more clients on a monthly basis.
  • Brand management and social interaction management.
  • Profile setup and optimization.
  • Paid Social Media set up and management

  • Generate comprehensive and creative social marketing plans for clients.
  • Grow social audiences and content reach on all major platforms.
  • Develop relationships with bloggers, website owners, business owners, customers, organizations and news outlets.
  • Provide insightful reports, analysis and information as required, with regard to outreach strategy and social media activity.
  • Communicate in a timely and efficient manner with project managers, clients and any external agencies who are party to ongoing campaigns.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives of each of the clients you work with.
  • Ensure your knowledge of social marketing is kept up to date and relevant by networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources.
  • Actively and frequently propose new and improved outreach and social media marketing ideas.
  • Attend client meetings and communicate effectively about ongoing efforts and results.


  • Extensive experience running social media campaigns in an agency environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing social media campaigns, both organic and paid.
  • BA/BS in communications, marketing, PR, journalism or related field from a major university.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, especially in writing.
  • Experience with social automation tools.
  • Understanding of SEO as a whole and how Google and other search engines rank websites/pages.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with niche platforms such as Houzz, Wanelo or Polyvore.
  • Industry-specific marketing experience in healthcare, e-commerce & retail,travel and tourism and professional services.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ability to take over existing campaigns with little training, efficiently manage your workload and take initiative on new projects.
  • Proactive and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • History of professional and courteous behavior, both to colleagues and clients.
  • Reliable, flexible and cooperative.

  • This is a full-time position. Pay based on experience.
