Email Marketing Manager

Focused on email but truly have an eye for integrated digital marketing, the Email Marketing Account Manager will partner closely with other internal teams to develop customer centric campaigns based on analytics and behavior. The Email Marketing Account Manager will have a strong working knowledge of data strategy and activation, campaign management and email marketing platforms. This includes keeping a pulse on industry trends and best practices for targeting, content, execution and analytics. You will be the in house subject matter expert.

The manager will work on many different accounts and be a part of the growth strategy participating in business development initiatives, as well as growing existing clients. The ideal candidate possesses strong communications skills, is flexible in a fast-paced environment, and recommends new ideas and processes to his/her supervisor and other team members.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 – 5 years of deep experience in email marketing
  • Direct experience managing and optimizing email databases
  • Experience with working in an agency or consulting firm
  • Highly collaborative and positive work style
  • Ability to leverage business experience/acumen to identify new business and marketing opportunities
  • Very basic HTML knowledge

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the strategy for email marketing campaigns in both B2C and B2B environments.
  • Oversee the end-to-end production and implementation of each email communication.
  • Develop seasonal calendar for all email marketing programs, manage and optimize design, content, targeting and messaging of all email communications.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketing team to develop, test and implement marketing emails.
  • Analyze, optimize and test various email campaigns to achieve organization KPIs.
  • Drive and manage A/B testing campaigns.
  • Build and optimize lead nurturing email marketing programs.
  • Work with marketing teams to report monthly on campaign performance, conversions, etc.
