Introducing the newly redesigned Clothing Connection Online website!

Clothing connection online homepageWe love our clients here at Fruition – and every so often we want to give them a shout-out for the outstanding work they do. This week, we’re featuring Clothing Connection Online.

Today we’re excited to announce the new look of Fruition client Clothing Connection Online’s website. We’ve spent a few weeks working with CCO on the website redesign, and we wanted to  highlight some of the great new features we developed for them.

Clothing Connection Online was founded by Mike and Theresa Chand in 1997 as a small, family-owned suit shop based in Aurora, CO. Over years of continued success with offering men’s fashion suits, outerwear, tuxedos and formalwear at great prices, the Chands doubled their business and opened a second shop. The company continued to grow, and in 2006 the Chands knew the time was right for them to turn their business into a nationwide online retailer. But they have remained committed to the personal relationships they have developed over the years, and so have strived to include personal touches on the new website.

Clothing Connection Online navigation“We’ve been in business 15 years, and from talking with our customers we recognized that we could give them a better and more enjoyable shopping experience by making our website faster and easier to use. The new site not only looks great, but offers improved customer assistance and information, and we’re excited to share it with our clientele,” said Mike Chand of the new website.

CCO had a number of goals moving into the website redesign process. Since CCO has a large and very loyal customer base, the company wanted to give back to them through an excellent customer shopping experience on the website. It also wanted to streamline and modernize the look and feel of the website, and incorporate an easier shipping and returns process.

Clothing Connection Online product viewThe look of the old website didn’t portray the sleek, modern look and feel that CCO wanted for its respected, established brand. Fruition’s design team worked with CCO to develop a new color palette, logo and website design that better reflects the CCO brand.

The previous website was built on older software that didn’t offer the intuitive shopping experience CCO wanted for its customers.  Fruition’s development team built the new site on Magento, which provides a state-of-the art e-commerce experience, and integrated new shipping and returns software. The new site makes finding products easy with simplified category and product navigation, and enhanced product descriptions and photos. The new design also makes it easy to find featured products, sales and promotions, and bestselling items.

The new shipping and returns process was designed for easy, one-click access to check on orders and make returns. The returns process will be a great benefit to customers who need to easily return or exchange items – customers simply enter their order number, select items to return, and print out the available return and shipping labels.

CCO customers also now have the ability to create wishlists on the site and keep track of the products that catch their eye.

“Customer service is extremely important to us and has always been a foundation of our business, so we’re very pleased to provide them with better information, improved technology and faster response,” said Theresa Chand.

Fruition’s goal in this process was to put CCO, a medium-sized local business, on par with large national men’s clothing chains in terms of customer shopping experience, design and technology.
