Digital Marketing Account Director Career in Denver

Fruition is seeking an Account Director for our Denver office. The Account Director oversees and leads the strategic account direction to deliver high-quality strategies, solutions, tools and services for clients and enable them to achieve their marketing objectives. The Account Director actively consults with clients regarding marketing strategies as well as technology selection and other issues and challenges confronting businesses pursuing a digital strategy to drive business goals and objectives.

The Account Director collaborates with a cross functional team of subject matter experts on a daily basis and is responsible for client satisfaction, execution of deliverables and fiscal health of client engagements. Maintaining client relationships is a core function of the Account Director’s responsibilities; as such the Account Director is responsible for resolving issues, proactively assessing account health and escalating areas of concern to appropriate resources when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the lead between the client and Fruition business/support teams
  • Provide leadership to the internal team on behalf of the client
  • Accountability for setting internal communication plans/methodology
  • Lead client engagement through marketing strategies, testing and execution of client programs
  • Ensure timeliness and quality of client deliverables
  • Effectively lead and motivate internal account team to produce best in class work and foster collaboration
  • Monitor account performance against plan including finical reports, billing and invoicing
  • Increase account size and revenue potential
  • Act as an extension of clients marketing team

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required: Marketing, business or applicable degree
  • Experience in all digital marketing channels including organic search, email, social, paid media and other digital activities
  • Minimum of 5 years of client service/account management in a marketing agency or a combination of client side/agency
  • Data driven and analytically minded, comfortable with data, response metrics and trends
  • Google Analytics, AdWords and Bing paid certified
  • Comfortable with website platforms including WordPress, Drupal and Magento.
  • Experience with ESPs such as MailChimp or similar.
  • Familiar with social media tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite and Facebook Business Manager.
  • Experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, SEM Rush, BrightEdge, Moz, marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Hubspot or others and other similar marketing tools
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about digital marketing and web development
  • Ability to work within and through cross-functional teams
  • Ability to understand and manage client profitability and budgets
