While search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing are what evaluate your site and classify it in the right category under the right keywords, some things must be done by you in order to make it easy for them to do their job.
When you go to a search engine, let’s say Google, and type the word “Internet marketing” for example, you will see that the results provided by the search engine are relevant to what you’ve typed. In other words, these pages or websites are optimized for this keyword “Internet marketing” in order for the search engines to classify them by their relevance and importance, and this is where SEO come in handy. So what is SEO and how it can be done anyway?
SEO or search engine optimization is one of the most important article marketing techniques. It’s the art of creating optimized Web Pages for the search engines to classify them under specific keywords (categories) and list them in their page results. By doing that, your Web Pages will gain more visibility and get more organic=natural=free traffic from these search engines.
While logically and statistically the first result on Google or any other search engine gets more traffic than the second, and the second gets more then the third…etc, you have to aim at least for one of these 3 first results – hopefully for the first because it gets the highest traffic. If you get more traffic, you’ll get more exposure and more money if you are monetizing your Web Pages.
Search engine optimization requires many factors in order to take effect; these factors are grouped into 2 categories, which are 2 of the core SEO principles here at Fruition:
1- On-page SEO: this means the things we can do to a web page to maximize its relevance for particular keywords. The on-page SEO factors require many keyword optimization techniques such as: using targeted keywords in title, content, URL, Meta description and keyword tags, H1 tags…and many more.
2- Off-page SEO: The factors of this category concentrate on the relationship of your Web Pages with other Web Pages on the internet. These factors determine the authority and the importance of your Web Pages in the search engines’ eyes. They consist in general of link building strategies that we employ here at Fruition.
Search engine optimization is all about keyword optimization. If you try to make your Web Pages search engine friendly, you’ll get a better chance of ranking high and by that getting more traffic. We can help.
