Internet Marketing is Now More Important than Traditional Print Marketing

Marketing is the process of creating the right products and goods and delivering it to interested customers. This process goes from discovering a product or a need to actually promoting, delivering, and selling it.

The marketing concept is very old; it has been evolving since many centuries ago. There have been years where print marketing took place and made a huge impact on marketing in general. Marketers used to promote their products on brochures, newspapers, magazines, direct mail…etc, but these days are nearly over!!!

With the revolution the internet has made, everything changed including marketing. It touched our lives from every possible angle. Marketing is becoming easier than anytime before, actually very easy that everyone can do it in no time, no effort and most important of all with a very little or no cost.

Internet marketing brought to the traditional marketing a new breath, techniques, concepts and even a new definition. So let’s see – what does internet marketing mean?

Internet marketing or online marketing is simply applying marketing techniques to products and goods over the internet (online). These techniques include: SEO or search engine optimization, copywriting, online promotion, E-mail marketing…etc.

While we are in the digital age of speed, traditional marketing can’t survive. It’s almost dead these days and I can’t think of a marketer that doesn’t use online marketing nowadays. It’s the best, the fastest, and the easiest way to bring your business to the next level. So why is that true?

Here are some reasons why internet marketing is more important then traditional print marketing:

1- It’s proven to get more effective results: this is why marketers shifted from traditional marketing mediums such as television, radio and print – to internet marketing.

2- Easy and fast to do: online marketing only requires some proven techniques and few clicks. This is because if you are online then everything is within your reach. By that you’ll save a lot of time and effort to invest in something else.
3- Everything is measured and automated. Internet has statistics for almost everything; marketing is becoming so easy that marketers can use only one software to do the job that previously required many people. A lot of time and money are now saved. Online marketing efforts are focused on market research, identification of profitable keywords, do SEO, get traffic estimates…etc. These days there are tools that you can’t believe what they can do for you (I didn’t when I discovered them!)

4- Low cost. If you are just starting a new business then it’s almost impossible to advertise on television, for example, because it will cost you so much money. With internet marketing you can advertise on websites that have many visitors yet reasonable advertising costs.

With the growth of internet, big players in the field (search engines, social media…etc) have put some restrictions in order to organize this huge amount of data. So many companies have shown up to assist new internet marketers through the process of internet marketing like, for example, there are several internet marketing companies in Denver which have experts that can provide a great service to your business – because hiring an expert will solve all of your problems and save you a lot of time and money.
