I love my Toshiba Satellite Tablet PC. Period. It’s great computer, the writing function of the tablet is fantastic.  I have had it for about 2 1/2 years and aside from the power cord going out, I haven’t had any issues with it.

Now that it’s getting warmer outside I have noticed the keyboard area is getting hot and uncomfortable to type on.  Most people don’t like the fan noise, but it doesn’t bother me. I would prefer to have it one longer to keep the temperature lower.

There seem to be two options to adjust the Toshiba tablet fan. First, you can physical adjust the fan see this long and detailed approach http://slashstar.com/blogs/alex/archive/2006/09/30/Toshiba-M400-Fan-Hack.aspx. Personally, that’s too much work for me. The second option is to adjust the fan controls via some software maybe bios? I’m throwing this post up and if anyone happens to know how to do it, let me know.
