Here’s a quick example of the life cycle of keyword research and optimization. A few weeks ago I received a spam email that was typical – send me “your bank account number, a bunch of money, and I’ll send you a million dollars.” The only somewhat unique thing is it was targeting attorneys specifically. Unfortunately, even attorneys have fallen for this type of online scam before. I decided to post it to see (1) how quick it would rank for some of the random words in the email and (2) to see how much traffic it would generate.
